Talking "Franchouillardise quand tu nous tiens"

Here's the thread to speak in French (yes, in French, not in French SMS talk... ) about Richard or anything else actually. The vox populi is too strong, it seems this thread had to exist.

It is highly advised to try to simultaneously translate in English (or make a short English sum up when it's too long) what you've posted...

Amusez-vous bien! Enjoy!

Re: "Franchouillardise quand tu nous tiens"

BTW, the thread title roughly translates as "Ah Francophone-centerism, when you strike us...".

Or something like that if that even means anything in English...

Should we ask for it to be stickied?

OK, my French isn't very good but since I'm going to be living in France next year (next uni year that is! ), I am keen to try to improve it as much I can. I apologise in advance for all of the stupid mistakes I am going to make, if you see anything really stupid and obvious please don't be afraid to tell me!

(Good idea delsa. I note that Silver and you have some troubles to speak french. It is supposed to be a french thread, isn't it? )

Ton français est très bon... Aucune erreur de conjugaison.

(Your french is very good. No mistakes in "conjugaison ")

Re: "Franchouillardise quand tu nous tiens"

It seems this thread might help ameliorate many posters' English too!

Btw, I didn't know this was called a "fil" and that conjugation was the english word for "conjugaison"

Ce fil m'est très utile.
This thread is very useful for me.

Re: "Franchouillardise quand tu nous tiens"

This is the thread to learn languages, English for some, French for others.

Litterally it means "the flag is at half-mast"... This is an expression which is used very often to say that something is doing badly... Most of the time you say "le moral en berne" for exemple... To speak about one's morale (easy, huh?).
