Really? From the stats you could see that Chiudinelli was being more aggressive hence the bigger number of winners and unforced errors on his part, but Richard ended up with a bunch of aces and winners himself, and relatively few unforced errors for a tight 4-setter. Plus, his first two sets were pretty clean. What was particularly ugly about it?
Anyway, I'm glad he won and defended his points. I really believe he can go far in this tournament. He needs to be more focused and be much more aggressive without being too inconsistent. It's a tough task, but he can do it. I'd hate if he started to accomadate himself into this defensive game he's been showing lately.
