Re: ++++++ North American Hardcourt Season 2006 ++++++

With my two favourite players in the final, I was so pleased anyway. I seriously thought Richard could pull it off, but Roger showed once more why he is the number 1. Like previous posters, I am certain that Richard's time will come, however, not necessarily in Cincy. I don't expect anything and every win will be a surplus.

Here's an idea. Make a list of all his consecutive losses and keep adding to it until he wins.

Richard
Not a surprise, but still disgusting. So Robredo is a TOP10, but one would hope Richard actually is better than him on hardcourts. Perhaps he'll win New Haven and crash out on R128 at the USO. :retard:

Roger Federer

Richard Gasquet, Marcos Baghdatis, Tomas Berdych, Evgeny Korolev, Stanislas Wawrinka, Fabrice Santoro, Paul-Henri Mathieu, etc

He's still playing New Haven, right?

Re: ++++++ North American Hardcourt Season 2006 ++++++

Somebody tell him to skip New Haven, if he does well there, he'll definitely lose early in the US Open.

I am a fan of Federer, Gasquet, Baghdatis, the long-deceased Safin, Youzhny, Nalbandian, Rochus, Tsonga, the sadly-departed Santoro, and good, hearty, competitive tennis matches. The quality of my life does not rest solely on who wins these matches. In fact, I would even go as far as to say that I can live quite happily after a player I like chokes, mugs, bashes, or otherwise succumbs to a loss.

When was the last time Richie played 2 good tournaments in a row? It must be going back to last year when he won those 2 challengers before Monte Carlo
This is really getting annoying...

Queens, Nottingham, and Wimbledon were quite a good run if you think about it - quarterfinal losing in three to Stepanek, winning the title, and a fourth round loss against Nalbandian.
