Re: *.*.*.* Grasscourt Season *.*.*.*

aahh I´m sorry for Richard and Vliegen that they didn´t make it into the finals but they had a great run this week I think Richard had a good week in Halle. He played great against Roger ( I didn´t really expected him to play well like that), he was very close! Plus he made it into the semis in doubles. He played good matches and I hope he can gain some confidence from it.

Re: *.*.*.* Grasscourt Season *.*.*.*

Aww, they lost in doubles A nice run though to the semfinals. Its his best result all year

As for the Nottinham draw, its not terrible. Its better than Halle, but its not horrible. Still tough, but we have to expect that. Come on Richie!!!

Re: *.*.*.* Grasscourt Season *.*.*.*

Lizard Lips is a great doubles player I was actually hoping for Richard to play with Paulo since Gael had to pull out this week but Paulo is pretty hopeless on grass so it's probably for the better.

I just wish Richard could find himself a permanent doubles partner. Some stability would be nice.

Hmmm... Vliegen's playing Nottingham too. I wonder why he's not playing doubles. He and Richard make quite a good doubles team. 7-6 6-4 against a top team like Santoro/Zimonjic is not bad at all.

Re: *.*.*.* Grasscourt Season *.*.*.*

Seeded Verdasco withdraws, Malisse replace him, so Richard will meet a qualifier or a lucky loser in the first round...

Good luck, Richard and Lizard Lips! Will be a tough match but it'll be good match practice.

Re: *.*.*.* Grasscourt Season *.*.*.*

Richard will take Ivan Navarro Pastor in the first round now. That's a way better opening round than Malisse.

Nicolas is a very good doubles player. I especially love when he plays with Julien Benneteau Those two---> Such funny times with those guys last summer

Allez Richard and Nicolas.

I am a fan of Federer, Gasquet, Baghdatis, the long-deceased Safin, Youzhny, Nalbandian, Rochus, Tsonga, the sadly-departed Santoro, and good, hearty, competitive tennis matches. The quality of my life does not rest solely on who wins these matches. In fact, I would even go as far as to say that I can live quite happily after a player I like chokes, mugs, bashes, or otherwise succumbs to a loss.
