Re: Richard on the grass 2015

Allez Richard for the Grass season!!

Looking forward to 's-Hertogenbosch, he can certainly do well there.

For Wimbledon, hoping for a good seeding and draw. No big 3 in R4! Nadal will need to win RG, Stuttgart and Queens to make top 4 seeding most likely.

First is the tournament in 's-Hertogenbosch!! GOOD LUCK! Draw on Saturday!

[A.U.H.Qureshi] [R.Gasquet] [R.Nadal] [The Indo-Pak Express] [J.W.Tsonga] [P.H.Mathieu] [E.Gulbis] [J.Ward] [G.Monfils] [F.Verdasco] [Samir Iftikhar]

[M.Safin] [T.Henman] [G.Rusedski] [A.Roddick]

What an OP. Afterglow is on fire
Let's hope for a title during this season. It's been 84 years since his last grass title (Nottingham 2006). Still pretty mad that he lost last year's Eastborne to Lopez of all people.

And hopefully he'll get a milder draw for Wimbledon. Something like Berdych or Nishikori for QF would be much appreciated than the big 4.

Re: Richard on the grass 2015

I like Richard chances in both 's-Hertogenbosch and Queens. He has no points to defend (he will lose 150 points from Eastbourne, however) and Queens (Halle as well) has finally been promoted to 500 level. In the Netherlands I expect at least a semi and in Queens at least a quarter. Good news is that he has had great success on the grass but on the other side he has beem struggling on this surface for the past few years (If I recall well, after losing to Tomic in Wimbly 2013 he said that he cannot find the time to prepare on his shots, the ball is coming back too quickly). Anyway, he has time to prepare, hopefully pain-free, and gain a lot of points in Wimbledon. A good draw will help a ton.

Re: Richard on the grass 2015

With Tsonga reaching the FO SF, I doubt he will play 's-Hertogenbosch also considering he's on the Halle and Nottingham entry list.

Will both Sergi and Seb be with Richard during the Grass court season? I certainly hope so.

I think it was fatigue. He was seen practicing in Paris on the weekend so it's no injury worry.

Could have been much worse. Raonic comes back from injury, but his serve will be difficult to deal with on grass.

Yep.

Still no official reason for this week withdrawing? Or did I miss it?

I have not seen anything either, my feeling is he just needed a break, Roland Garros always takes a lot out of him mentally.
