Re: Articles & Interviews

Thanks for posting.. those clips were so cute. His English is way better than my French (and I don't even want to admit how long I've been taking French).

Re: Articles & Interviews

Well once again he's very unlucky... He could have beat Stepanek for sure without this toothache. I hope he will recover soon.

And Atenea: it's not mean... We're just kindly laughing about his attempts (which are not so bad) at speaking English...But we could stop now...maybe you're right...
Thanks for the link Delsa!
Very funny! That's not mean at all to laugh because Richard is laughing at himself too. Seeing his words, he seems to have a good sense of humour.

Here is a translation:
"I am f***ing hopeless! That's ridiculous."
"Oh no you manage allright"
"That's f***ing pitiful" "I speak english like a ...hum... togolais!..." (don't know this word in english : people from Togo???)
"That's not so bad, is it? There's still progress..."

"People are laughing at me, that's horrible..."
"Translate it. I won't be able to say this in english"

I hope that's correct.
@ Delsa: feel free to correct mistakes

Why me? I find your translation perfect except I wouldn't have said "Peolple are laughing at me..." But something like: "I know some people that would /must be laughing at me right now..." since he says "y'en a qui...". Maybe he is refering to some in particular?

Everytime I read your posts I am like "oh she's right!" (especially the ones about Paulo)
I can't find my words to express myself and then you say exactly my thoughts.

Btw i agree with your translation of "y en a qui...".

thank you but i don't really speak a good English it's just that i dare to post even if i know i'll make plenty of mistakes and sometimes (ok...very often ) i make up expressions that don't even exist in English and i sound ridiculous... but that's ok...i can live with that and as we say "le ridicule ne tue pas..."
as long as what i try to say is close to being understandable for the most part...
