Richard doing suprisingly well. I thought he would lose early due to the fatigue of Mumbai. But he proved me wrong. I think he can make Shanghai now.

To be honest, his draw has been quite kind. He'll have to thank Dancevic, Del Potro and Nieminen for losing early.

But if other players can beat Potro, Nieminem, Dancevic, couldn't Richie?

Yeah, it has.
Today against Berdych is the time he should prove us something.

So many people root for Berdych in GM. I normally like Tomas (or at least have no problem with him) but I want Richard to win. Maybe Tomas will play badly tomorrow. Or Richie has to play out of his mind or close to it.

Many people on GM feel the exhilaration when Gasquet loses.

He would have had more trouble with them than he had with the opponents he faced and would have expended more energy.

Re: The Gasket Blowers Chat Thread: Two steps forward, three steps back

BTW when I was watching him playing, thought his style hasn't much changed. But the good thing is his serve has been improved. Not the speed, but the accuracy and the corner he chooses to serve.

Berdych is no fighter. I think Gasquet has a chance unless he beats himself.

Yeah. He still hit those moonball fhs and stand 4 meters behind the baseline. But he comes to net more and his serve is better. He throws in more aces. I just wish he would fix that awful fh.
