No. There's only the SAP Open which I went to last year. I was planning to go this year but it costs too much and no one I liked was in the final.

Re: The Gasket Blowers Chat Thread: Two steps forward, three steps back

I wish there was a men's tournament over here. If there was, I definitely would volunteer.
If you think the tickets cost too much, why don't you volunteer?

I think you have to be 21 to volunteer. Anyways no one good really plays except Roddick and Murray. I wish Gasquet would play at San Jose but he probably has never even heard of the city.

Re: The Gasket Blowers Chat Thread: Two steps forward, three steps back

I bet he has heard of San Jose because there is the ATP tournament over there.
Volunteering is quite interesting. My part is to stay in the players' lounge, so I can see many players and coaches while they are not playing or waiting there matches. Besides, I can see the match for free if I want the match.

When you turn 21, try to apply for it.

You must be lucky to get chosen out of all the applicants. Do you get to talk to players?

Re: The Gasket Blowers Chat Thread: Two steps forward, three steps back

I didn't. I'm too shy to talk to players.
And I don't think I'm not allowed to bother players from where they want to rest.

Re: The Gasket Blowers Chat Thread: Two steps forward, three steps back

If I volunteer at a big event like GS or Masters (a girl can dream) I want to tell Federer he's GOAT and if he's tired of Mirka cleaning out his fridge he can give me a call. I'll tell Richard that he's so fucking talented but has the mentality of a 12 year old girl. Man up! Then I'll ask Nadal what he's playing on the court cause it sure isn't tennis. I'll tell Roddick he sucks and to go home and go join a frat big serving loser. And I wanna ask Djokovic how is it possible to walk through a door with his head so big.

I got all excited at the prospect of a USA-France QF in France next year and if it had been possible I would've gone, but then I checked and I think it would be played in the USA!

Brittany I got the autograph from her. I asked someone who works in the locker room to get one because she didn't stop by the players lounge that often.

You're welcome Brittany.

BTW Richard is so funny. We had waited him to play in this whole summer and he disappointed us but now he's playing great while our expectation was a bit of sunken. I'm starting to get excited again for the Masters cup, which maybe I shouldn't.

Re: The Gasket Blowers Chat Thread: Two steps forward, three steps back

Should I pm you my address?

I think Yannick Noah have been a lot of help. Maybe he was what Richard needed. I'm excited for the rest of the season and 08. He is scheduled to play 5/6 tourments before the year is over and if he does well in most of them (provided that others ranked above him are not playing) he has a good chance of qualifying for TMC or WTF.
