I am not sure how things would have went without Dimitrov's cramps or was it something else? Nice shotmaking from the Bulgarian, very talented guy, but how often have we heard and read that talent dooes not suffice?
PHEW! Who knows maybe the Bulgarian would have choked
but he had Richard on the ropes the first 2 sets. TO me Dimitrov was the better player TODAY - moved MUCH better, even after cramping, more aggressive court position (but who doesn't) and went for his shots even before he had no choice after cramping.
Kodus to RIchard for keeping focus and fighting off a "wounded duck". It is VERY hard to play an opponent who has to just tee off on everything.
