Re: Richard's Time In The Heat- Summer Season 2011

Good to see someone other than Richard totally crumble.

But kudos to Richard for staying focused and NOT choking when he certainly had opportunitites to do so serving for the first 2 sets. And if only Richard could crack the ball all the time like he did in the last set when the match was in the bag.

Richard did blow some BP chances but at least he blew most of them trying to be aggressive - didn't always work but he tried. Overall solid first match now we need Gonzo to wear out the big guy a bit more.

I can remember not that long ago, more than a few matches against top 40 - those are the ones where he feels the most pressuuure.

but you never know djokovic might be tired.

what really sucks is that a few years ago gasquet could have beaten djokovic.
gasquet has been kind of stagnant
I would actually say he was playing better tennis in 2006 and even in 2007 in parts.

Richard is in folding form today. He is getting outplayed even from baseline.

is there a reason why you are standing further back for a second serve than a first serve. Not getting that one at all!!

Re: Richard's Time In The Heat- Summer Season 2011

IT's gonna be over before any one shows up. Richard broken early in both sets - kiss of death.

Any chance Karlovic's arm will suddenly poop out big time?

Richard trying some different looks but nothing working, except the racket toss - Karlovic looking good even from the baseline

Karlovic with the worst break game on tour, broke Richard 3 times already.
