Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

Looch in another tight match he should have closed out in two sets, in the Challenger in Champaign against Wild Card Dennis Nevolo. Looch lost the 2nd 67(5)and now in the 3rd set. Com'n Looch...

Looch prevailed in 3 sets, getting up 6-3 in the 3rd.
Good work Peter

Yesss, Pete gets up in a close match over Kuznetsov 7-6, 6-2 (13-11 in the breaker). Some luck for Pete for a change...
Let's hope for more in this tournament

He plays Bobby Reynolds the gimp next up, hope he doesn't lose to this cat.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

What a relief!

Atleast he won't be heading to Australia on the back of an incredible losing streak.

Will be there to root him on for you fine chaps tomorrow. Can't stand Bobby the whiner and Peter seems like a solid guy, so hopefully Pete gets the win and keeps the winning streak going.

You won't meet a nicer guy, never mind tennis player. Peter is absolutely one wonderful person.

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

With this QF result Pete has snatched the number 2 Aussie spot in the world and will now finish the year number 2 as well. Should be interesting to see how he goes next year although I don't expect TA to give him a WC into the Aussie open unless he wins the playoff, which I also doubt.

Back home to Australia after losing to the gimp Reynolds.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

Oh well, the last 4 or so months have been truly awful. Unfortunately he hasn't progressed enough on HC to beat most top 150 players. Hopefully he just takes a good rest, chills with the family, gets these losses out of the mind and can put forth a good performance in the AO playoff.

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

Unfortunate result but this week has been a bit better and should give him a bit of confidence heading into the playoffs.

Baker (USA) - Bedene (SLO) - Bellucci (BRA) - Berta (SWE) - Cuevas (URU) - Domijan (USA) - Ebden (AUS) - Estrella (DOM) - Grigelis (LTU) - Guccione (AUS) - Heliovaara (FIN) - Kavcic (SLO) - King (BAH) - Kontinen (FIN) - Kubler (AUS) - Lajovic (SRB) - Matosevic (AUS) - McGee (IRE) - Millman (AUS) - Mitchell (AUS) - Nielsen (DEN) - Nieminen (FIN) - Paire (FRA) - Udomchoke (THA)

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

Pete is first up tomorrow morning against Saville, should be a nice match to work himself into some shape.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
