Haven't seen the match but from what you said it seems Pete did what he had to do... Hope he maintains good form.

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

It will be good for Pete, he can get a few days off before playing in Cordenons, which will be another hard event.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Looks like a pretty tough section. All of these matches will be a test for Peter. Good luck mate.

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

Machado got him earlier this year in a tough match, but Machado was on fire hitting massive forehands, he should have learned from that match.

Pete and Vinciguerra hit quite a lot, when Vinci was making his comeback.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

Hopefully Pete can cast some revenge on Machado. (:

Vinci should probably beat Köllerer if he is playing well. Would be good to see Pete against Andreas.

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

Not the best draw. Could have had an easier first round match than Crugnola. Machado could be troublesome if Pete isnt on his game and then the QF which will be very tough. I actually think it will be Koellerer in the QF if he is in the right frame of mind which he has been lately but Vinci will be tough as well.

Baker (USA) - Bedene (SLO) - Bellucci (BRA) - Berta (SWE) - Cuevas (URU) - Domijan (USA) - Ebden (AUS) - Estrella (DOM) - Grigelis (LTU) - Guccione (AUS) - Heliovaara (FIN) - Kavcic (SLO) - King (BAH) - Kontinen (FIN) - Kubler (AUS) - Lajovic (SRB) - Matosevic (AUS) - McGee (IRE) - Millman (AUS) - Mitchell (AUS) - Nielsen (DEN) - Nieminen (FIN) - Paire (FRA) - Udomchoke (THA)

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

Pete won 6-1 7-5 over Crugnola, so it's either Machado or Yoo next.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

wtf is your problem, naturally people talk about other people when they are doing well thats a natural thing. Pete has been injured a lot lately so what am I going to post in here when he is injured? I've been posting in pete's forum for over two years now, I mean seriously dude lighten up it's not like your the only Peter Luczak fan out there and no one else can be a "true" fan of his like you are I mean wtf, should be the other way around, the more fans he has the more popular he will be.

Regardless of what I post I am still a bit Luczak fan, I was at the Australian Open in 2007 when Pete was on Margaret Court arena playing Alex Kuznetsov and the match went past 1am and I sat there the whole match.

Then again you have been having a go at me for a while now about posting ranking predictions and what not. All I have to say is people come on this forum for different reasons and you should respect that.

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

Too bad there is no streaming for this challenger, then again we are lucky enough to find scores.

Time to get revenge on the Portuguese-Scotsman.

Peter got it done over Machado 6-3 7-6.

Next up either Crazy Dani or Vinciguerra.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
