Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

The weather forceast is meant to be fine for the rest of the week and the rain delay on Tuesday helped a lot.

He is on not before 4.30pm.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Comfortable win for Pete 6-3 6-4

He now plays Rosol in the quarter finals.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Pete won 6-2 7-5, will play Wawrinka in the semis.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Another good week from Peter. Hopefully he gives Wawrinka a fight.

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

Another great week from Pete, disappointing Wawrinka is playing a tournament like this.

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

Wawrinka won 4-6 6-3 6-4. Pete fought hard, but playing someone who is ranked a fair way above you, have to take the few chances that come up and Pete failed to do it.

The service game he lost in the 2nd set, at 15 all, he had Wawrinka on the run and Luczak had a very easy smash which he buried at the bottom of the net.

Both served well in the 3rd set, but at 30-30, he served a double fault and then a cheap error on the BH lost him serve.

The backhand once again let him down as he had 30-40 on Wawrinka's serve to get it back on serve. Went for a backhand down the line off the second serve and missed it, after that Stani closed it out.

Very good signs for Pete. I think he is off to the grass for some silly reason, then Rijeka.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

High degree of consistency was observed there.

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

Still a great week for Pete, taking a set off Wawrinka shows he is in solid form (even though he has done it before). Good Luck on the grass Pete.

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

Pete for some clownish reason is playing Wimbledon qualies. I doubt whether he will make it through.

Pablo Cuevas URU (11) v Sebastian Decoud ARG
Marcel Felder URU v Ryler Deheart USA
Peter Luczak AUS v Jaroslav Pospisil CZE
Taylor Dent USA (WC) v Olivier Rochus BEL (17)

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
