Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

Luczak has drawn Harel Levy the world number 162 who struggled in his last qualifying match against the world number 1138. Plus Levy hasnt been playing too well lately so I like Luczak's chances hopefully he wins because he has 59 to defend this week. He needs to win his second round match as well to ensure he stays in the top 100. Good news though French Open cut is this week which means Luczak is automatic entry into Roland Garros this year along with Guccione and Hewitt and Alun Jones will probably get the wildcard. Pete also needs to win a few next week too because hes in big trouble for defending his points in the next few months.

Good luck Peter. It would be great to see him defend these points after working so hard to achieve them in the first place!

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

Pete's in the MD for Roland Garros and that's good enough.

Levy is more suited to hardcourt and hits a flat ball. The court is very slow usually and as long Peter has got some jetlag out of his system, he should be able to handle this match.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Luczak/Spadea def Lipsky/Martin 4-6 6-4 7-6

Looch - Levy is one the first matches tomorrow (today technically for me) I think.

If Pete wins his singles match, he will play Granollers-Pujol.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Good enough to get the W, but will need to lift against Granollers. He is a very solid and fights very hard, forehand is his best shot.

Good luck Pete.

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

Granollers won 6-3 6-2 and Pete lost the doubles with Vinny Spadea in a champs tiebreak.

Now he is off to Bermuda.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Good luck in Bermuda. A couple of wins here is good. Keep it going as we do not wish to see you slip out of the top 100!

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

I hope Pete teaches "The Don" a lesson, Im so sick of Donald Young now.

Interesting trivia Pete goes for the Dons (Essendon) in AFL and is facing the Don tommorow.
