Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

Pete's next event is the Sunshine Challenger which is actually better than most North American MM events.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

At this stage neither Pete nor Gooch will get to play at Sunrise, as they didn't make the main draw cutoff and neither entered qualifying. They'll need 4 or 5 guys to pull out (unlikely as most have been beaten at IW already) or hope for one of the 3 wildcards left.

Many players from main draw pulled out. Looch and Gooch are in main draw the cut off increased dramatically due to pacific life open.

Luczak is playing Grosjean in the 1st round.

Every man and his dog pulled out. Kunitsyn got the last spot and he wasn't even in the first ten alternates! Bad luck for Alun Jones going out in qualifying...maybe he'll get a LL spot at this rate.

A testing one for Pete, but he can win it and at least he'll get to hit a lot of balls.

His ranking in about three months from now is a daunting reality. But he has set himself up as well as possible to regain the points where he is playing ATP tournaments as much as possible which is his best chance maybe even a run at Roland Garros then back to the challenger circuit during the Grass season which could see him get back into the top 100, who knows he suprised us last year.

Come on Peter and win some matches. That is the best way to stop the rot. Get onto that red stuff asap.
