Australian duo Alicia Molik and Peter Luczak will represent Australia at the Hopman Cup in Perth during December.

Luczak will make his Hopman Cup debut, while Molik returns for a fifth appearance.

The tournament will pit the Australian pair against Serbia and the Czech Republic.

Serbia's team will feature men's and women's world number threes Novak Djokovic and Jelena Jankovic.

Meanwhile world number 10 Tomas Berdych, and the 22nd-ranked Lucie Safarova will play for the Czech Republic.

Pete defeated Klizan 2-6 6-2 6-1 and now plays Minar in the next round.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Good the he came out on the right side of that. But doesn't he play Gremelmayer now?

How great that he is playing Hopman Cup, hopefully he can defend his adelaide and caloundra points in Korea. that would be 55 points. Minus what ever comes of from top 18. So it be great of he could reach at least semis both weeks...

Yes, you are right it is the Gremelmeister. I forgot that Mr Seoul Hyung-Taik Lee is the number 1 seed and Peter is the number 2.

Whatever happens it's has been a great year for him and he has to be on his game to do well in these events. He must be looking forward to coming home, we'll see what happens.

Cheers, another good article on looch, I only really started finding out about Peter this time last year (Read an article about him hitting with Lleyton) and since then he has gradually become one of my favourite players. Really hope he can break into the top 50 this (next) year, he definately can IMO anyway.

Nice articles there. I wish him well in Perth. I feel that most people have already written us off as hard courts are not Peter's best surface.

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

Well it's a tough group with the USA and the Czech Republic. I think he'll beat Bopana in 2, he could push Fish to 3 and Berdych, well as long as he's competitive

Yeah, Berdych should wipe Pete off the court, it'll be interesting to see what kind of form pete is in.

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

Pete did well against the Berdman losing 7-6 6-4.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
