Luczak def Khaddari 6-2 6-4

Ramos-Vinolas up next. Could be quite a tussle!

Should be a good match between him and Ramos Vinolas.

Ramos-Vinolas defeated Pete 62 64. He only won 4 points from 18 second serves and failed to save any of the 5 Break Points on his serve. The next tournament Pete is entered for is the Barletta Challenger on Clay next week.

Clear beatdown but time to move onto the next event.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Nice! Plenty of rain delays in Italy which might play a big part over the week.
Pete will have to get past Volandri first though, which is a tall order given the form of both players.

Volandri is definitely beatable, though Pete is still a fair way from he is capable of.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Tough draw but good performance, so close but a bit of disappointment for Looch

Casablanca qualies up next for Pete. Decent enough draw - http://www.atpworldtour.com/posting/2011/360/qs.pdf

Re: The "Peter Luczak" Cheering Thread!

Too bad he decides to play every quali event for the next couple of weeks, and doesn't play a single challenger. These qualis for Casablanca are doable, but the ones in Barca and the Master Series are too hard imo. If he even gets a DE in them...
