For a minute there I thought you meant they were actually tearing things, like as in the felt off the chairs in the classrooms.

Re: It's nice to have you Carsten.

Carsten has made another challenger semi final in Binghamton where he is seeded 7th and will face an unseeded player in the semis. Also he has made the Doubles final. This brings his ranking to around the mid 180s if he doesnt win another match. He will play Bronx challenger next week as well (coincidence that he is in New York a month before the US Open?). I dont see how he couldnt recieve the US Open wildcard after this. Does anyone know when they will announce the wildcard?

Carsten has the wc all sealed I think. That being said it has been a great week for us with Klein into the semis in India, Tomic in Indonesia and Rodionova in Russia! Lets hope for all 4 to win their respective events this week!

Well done, Carsten. He will move up to around 180-185 even if he loses his Semifinal. I agree, he has pretty much got the Wildcard sealed - well deserved too.

Carsten lost in the semis in three sets to Rajeev Ram. One good thing was that his fantastic tie break record remained in tact.

Here here! Get ready for some Balls to drop on Flushing Meadows. (Assuming his family shows up.)

Carsten has had a brilliant year and we should feel very proud of himself. His dad Syd has really organized a very sensible and organized schedule for him. I would exoect him to get the wild card into the Open. I really hope so anyhow!
