Australian Money Tournments

Thought I would get a thread up where we can post about the AMT's. came across an interesting result this week in Caloundra in Queensland. Robert Smeets took out the tittle seeded 5th against too seed Michael Look who is ranked 423. Maybe Robert is planning a comeback. I remember when he used to play I used to like him. A very big serve.

Re: Australian Money Tournments

Smeets is studying IT at uni, he should finish this or next year. He is married to one of Milman's sisters.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Machado wins 6-2 6-1

Smeets won't come back he just plays ATL and some tournaments during the year.
Shame because I don't think he ever fulfilled his potential enough.
