Pretty much. Although he's down 2 sets and a break to Reid in the quarter-finals. If Barton ends up winning the play-off and Reid the losing finalist and Ebden somehow misses out on direct entry, then maybe Saville will miss out. But that's a lot of ifs. And even if they do all end up happening, I still think Saville will get one.

Re: 2013 Australian Open Wildcards.

I think regardless of the play off outcome Mitchell and Patrick-Smith will get a main draw wildcard. I think its good to play five sets but reduce the draw to eight. One less game.

It's kind of interesting how saying two words in a heated moment can change your life so profoundly.

Klein's racist outburst in 2009 still puts him offside with TA. http://www.smh.com.au/sport/blogs/sa...201-18gi3.html

Re: 2013 Australian Open Wildcards.

Kind of convenient that wild card hopefuls get drawn to play each other in R1 of Brisbane qualifying. Obviously the winners of Saville v Millman and Duckworth v Kyrgios will have a much better shot than the losers.

Does Millman beating Saville so easily change things? Personally, I think it should, whether it will is another question

It won't.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Machado wins 6-2 6-1

I was surprised how certain you both were when I read these comments. It's not like Millman is no chance. TA might go beyond their hangups for a change and award Australia's highest ranked non-direct acceptance. He's in form too. I mean if he made the Brisbane semi-finals he'd probably get one so I don't think you should say definitely not.

TA won't make the right decision in this case I'm sure of it.

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I tend to agree, who knows what goes through their mind sometimes.
