James wins the final with a 6-2 6-4 win. So happy for him.

Re: James Lemke

A great two weeks for James, gets well below 300 in the rankings now and comes into the top ten of Australian Male players.

Re: James Lemke

James is in qualifying for Munich and takes on Ruben Bemelmans in the first round. Going to be a tough match i was very impressed when i see Ruben down in Australia this year.

Re: James Lemke

No luck for James with him going down 63 62 to Bemelmans. He had multiple opportunities early in the first set to go up an early break but unfortunately he couldn't capitalise and then Bemelmans started to gain the upper hand.

Re: James Lemke

James has made the MD in the Prague 85k clay challenger after a couple of impressive performances. He beat Alexander Flock (ranked 238th in the world) 64 61 before beating Czech wildcard Robin Stanek 64 64 and then getting past Guillaume Rufin 36 64 63. Rufin was coming off two Chilean Clay Futures where he didn't drop a set. Hopefully James can keep it up.

James takes on Denis Gremelmayer in the first round winnable match.

Re: James Lemke

Disappointing result with him going down 60 62. Did well to qualify but not the best way to end the week.

Re: James Lemke

Began the Italian 15k Clay future in Napoli on a good note with a straightforward 64 63 win over Filippo Leonardi. Next up is Nils Langer who is using his protected ranking in this tournament. I think James should be able to get past him though.

Re: James Lemke

Hopefully he can get past Zimmerman. The draw has opened up quite a bit outside James' quarter.

Re: James Lemke

Lemke into semis with a 62 76 win over Zimmerman. Now faces 22 year-old Columbian Alejandro Gonzalez, who has a solid games, so could be a challange. Go James

Re: James Lemke

James delivers two breadsticks to beat Gonzalez 6-1 6-1. In the final he plays the Dutch qualifier Antal Van Der Duim.

Re: James Lemke

Well done Lemmers. He sould have enough clay court game to beat van der Duim, who I believe has had some injury problems and is on the come back trail. Good luck in the final James.
