Yeah very good result for him, he will enter the top 300 next week with this result and should start to get entry into some weaker challengers around europe. I'm not sure where he is going to play next but hopefully it is a challenger or atp qualifying.

Re: James Lemke

Good stuff there in Austria, also James has direct entry into a challenger in Switzerland next week so hopefully he does well there too. Hopefully James stops playing futures soon and sticks exclusively to the challenger circuit.

Re: James Lemke

Lemke won the QF 63 75. It gets a bit tougher for James now with a match against Daniel Lustig in the Semis although he will still like his chances of making the final.

Re: James Lemke

James now heads to Switzerland and then the Netherlands the week after for two challenger main draws. Hopefully he can pick some points up in those two events.

Re: James Lemke

Won his second round against fellow Aussie Clint Thomson 75 76(4). He now plays Daniel Smethurst in the Quarters. Last time they played in March on the hardcourts in Great Britain, James won in three sets but the month before that on the clay in Spain Smethurst beat James in straight sets. Smethurst's recent form hasn't been that great though but in a sign thqat it could be on the improve he made the Quarters by defeating Mina in three sets.

Baker (USA) - Bedene (SLO) - Bellucci (BRA) - Berta (SWE) - Cuevas (URU) - Domijan (USA) - Ebden (AUS) - Estrella (DOM) - Grigelis (LTU) - Guccione (AUS) - Heliovaara (FIN) - Kavcic (SLO) - King (BAH) - Kontinen (FIN) - Kubler (AUS) - Lajovic (SRB) - Matosevic (AUS) - McGee (IRE) - Millman (AUS) - Mitchell (AUS) - Nielsen (DEN) - Nieminen (FIN) - Paire (FRA) - Udomchoke (THA)

Re: James Lemke

That was an unlicky draw for Lemmers, who does not get to play many tournaments at Challenger level. Did not perform well though.
