Re: Ben Mitchell's Banana Party

Ben loses to Feeney again in the singles, but beats him in the doubles playing with Alex Bolt. (Feens was playing with Zack Itzstein)

Re: Ben Mitchell's Banana Party

omg his ranking is dropping a lot now. he is out of the top 400 this week
i expected him to win the title here, another straight sets loss to feeney in the semifinals is not good at all...

At least he's saving himself from complete free fall by defending some of his Aussie Futures points from last year.

Re: Ben Mitchell's Banana Party

Ben has a good chance to get some ranking points in Yokohama this week taking on a qualifier in the first round.

Hopefully he can avoid Michael Venus if he gets through, he is in some great recent form...

Re: Ben Mitchell's Banana Party

What's that, you ask? That thing around his neck that he's holding so proudly in his hands?

Umm, that's just an Australian Open MDWC, no biggie!

R1: def. Brad Mousley 63 60 62
QF: def. Adam Feeney 36 62 75 60
SF: def. Matthew Barton 63 76 67 36 97
F : def. Matt Reid 63 76 36 64

Congrats

Re: Ben Mitchell's Banana Party

Watched some of his matches. He must be the most boring player I ever seen. All he is good at is just keeping the ball in play, has no weapons.
