Australian Pro Tour Question

Why do the Mens tournaments have prizemoney of $15,000 whilst the Womens tournaments have prizemoney of $25,000 with the only exception being next year's Burnie Challenger? Just wondering why it isn't equal.

Re: Australian Pro Tour Question

I wonder the same thing. Here's a link that demonstrates this. I don't much about how the WTA works but maybe the lowest possible WTA event is US$25,000?

Re: Australian Pro Tour Question

WTA/ITF events go down to $10,000

It all depends on what level of tournament TA apply for from the ITF....Futures are the smaller value tournaments while challengers are $25K and above etc
