Re: Matthew Ebden

Well played Matt against a solid opponent. More Grand Slam wins to come in his career.

Re: Matthew Ebden

Matt seemed to be very poised and really in control of his emotions. Quietly confident. I wish him all the best for his next match against Nishikori

Poor performance really, I think his career is hitting its peak at the moment.

Re: Matthew Ebden

It seems this summer a number of Australian players have given up good leads both in the main draw and qualifying.

Re: Matthew Ebden

Nishikori did well to rattle Matt with his bathroom breaks, his trainer calls, his dying tank shots, change of racquets etc. His experience and distractions won over in the end.

Matty got engaged over the weekend to his long time girlfriend Kim.

Congrats and a perfect start to the year off the court.

Re: Matthew Ebden

Now the Davis Cup has been won by us I hope that Matt gets a run in the singles. Hewitt has done his bit winning his singles abd doubles so let's blood Matty into his firt Davis Cup singles in a non stress environment.

Jetlag? Has Ebden not been in Geelong training with the DC squad for the whole week?
