Re: Matt Reid Cheering Thread

Tough but winnable match, hopefully he can get through, needs the points to get the rank back up into mid 200s so hopefully he can get direct into aussie open quals...

Go Matty Reid in Brisbane Qualies.
Glad TA saw the light and awarded Matt a wild card.

Re: Matt Reid Cheering Thread

Matt Reid is the loser in the Main Draw Wild card hand-out, Finalist of the WC Play-off, beating JP Smith, and zip given to him (Main Draw Brisbane/Sydney/Melbourne). In the past the finalist of the WC Play-off has got a WC into something. So why not Reid?

Also noteworthy - Duckworth and Millman did not play in the Wild Card Play-off and got AO MD WC's. Saville lost 1st round...

Do not play the Play-off and you will be better off...

All good points, they need to change the wildcard playoff and make it more attractive to play. Otherwise they may as well make it a playoff for a qualifying wildcard. Still in the end I think they got it mostly right across all the tournaments this summer.

Re: Matt Reid Cheering Thread

Keep up the good work Matt Reid. Tougher matches ahead though, No.1 seed Yuichi Sugita up next.
Good luck Matt, at your best you can beat him.
