Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread

The Mailman beat Ebden in a thriller 6-7(4) 6-4 7-5. He is up against Lindahl in the semis who is undefeated so far.

Johnny can take Lindahl out, hope he does it.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread

Millman went down 6-7 6-3 7-6. Really disappointing - again it was a high quality match, but he gave it his all as always. I guess we will see him in the qualifying.

Does anyone know if he will be playing at the Brisbane International? Qualies? MD? There is talk of a wildcard of some sort.

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread

John is doing some training and will go to Brisbane not sure whether he will get a wildcard or not. He will be at the AO qualies, not sure if he should get a wildcard for the main draw.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

It would be nice to see him there. In my opinion he isn't ready for an MD WC to the Australian Open.

I don't think he should get one just yet.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Really hope Millman can do some damage in ao qualies, and it would be nice to see him and Ebden in different sections of the draw lol!!

Both imo have the potential to come through qualies and with the right draw score a win in the main draw!! Lets hope it's hot as both of these guys will grind almost anyone down!!

Are you blind Ozfan ?? These 2 guys are Australian futures players and your saying they can win at an international level in atp, you must be high.
Both of them havent won a match in challenger level outside of Australia.

No im not high....i was referring to ao qualies, where both have won matches in the past couple years!! with their current form both could easily qualify and if the draw is kind and they are playing well win a match in the main draw!!

Good that John got a WC to Brisbane.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".
