Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread

John as long as he's fit for the year, he will be fine.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread

Good to see him have an easy 6-3 6-1 first round victory against John Peers in the first round of the Caloundra Challenger. Under an injury cloud here so the quick match is good for him. Next up is the formerly Finnish now Swiss player Henri Laaksonen. John is a very good chance of getting through to the quarters if his body holds up.

Baker (USA) - Bedene (SLO) - Bellucci (BRA) - Berta (SWE) - Cuevas (URU) - Domijan (USA) - Ebden (AUS) - Estrella (DOM) - Grigelis (LTU) - Guccione (AUS) - Heliovaara (FIN) - Kavcic (SLO) - King (BAH) - Kontinen (FIN) - Kubler (AUS) - Lajovic (SRB) - Matosevic (AUS) - McGee (IRE) - Millman (AUS) - Mitchell (AUS) - Nielsen (DEN) - Nieminen (FIN) - Paire (FRA) - Udomchoke (THA)

Seems like the achilles problems for now, got up 6-2 7-5 over Laaksonen.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Good to see. I would imagine he will be the favourite to win his QF as well.

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread

Jones turned around last weeks result with a 3-6 6-3 6-4 win.

Millman saved 5 match points at *3-5, then had 0-40 to level and couldn't do it. Yes, he was down a double break in the 3rd.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Draw is out for Toowoomba and John drew top seed Erik Chvojka. Tough first round but i think he can win it.

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread

Despite Chvojka being the top seed I am a bit surprised John lost that one.
