Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread

The mailman has drawn a qualifier in the first round of Brisbane. Better than last year, hopefully he can put in a good performance here.

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread

John is lacking matches, hopefully he can past the qualifier and get some momentum.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

good luck to Johnny. A very exciting potential r2 match looming but best not to look too far ahead.

Yes, like AJ said, he's lacking matches, but hopefully can do enough to get passed the qualifier.

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread

The Mailman drew his old mate Ebden, they have had a few battles. One thing about Ebden is he won't blow an opponent off the court, so John will get a lot of balls to hit, but he has to get the balance right.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread

Tough loss for John, though Ebden is a mate of his, as I said they know each others game very well. Ebden took his chances today.

I don't think Johnny will get a WC, he is not exactly a TA darling and would be great if he could qualify, it helped Ebden last year.

Johnny has drawn Ilhan in the 1st round of Sydney qualies. It will be good to get some more matches here before Melbourne.
