Thanks for the info...

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread

Emerging Queenslander John Millman's excellent form this year has earned him a wildcard into next month's Brisbane International.

Tennis Australia's national selectors on Wednesday granted Millman a wildcard into the men's main draw for the Australian Open warm-up event from January 2-9.

"John has won three events in 2010 - in Sacramento and two Australian Pro Tour events - and has been a finalist on three additional occasions," national selector Todd Woodbridge said.

"He has lifted his ranking to No.204, more than 100 places higher than this time last year and deserves this opportunity.

"John is a local Queenslander and has a phenomenal attitude and commitment to the game of tennis.

"This is a great opportunity for him and I am sure the Queensland crowd will get right behind him."

The 21-year-old joins world No.4 Robin Soderling, reigning champion and eighth-ranked Andy Roddick, No.9 Fernando Verdasco and No.16 Mardy Fish in a strong 32-man draw.

Millman's inclusion leaves just two wildcards to be issued for the men's event.

With that I hope he doesn't get a wildcard into AO. There are others I'd prefer over John. But Brisbane is good, if he wins a round I will be stoked.

Well not all types of injuries are the same.

Nathii, his training is fine.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
