Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread

It is forecast to rain until Thursday and there are still some qualifying matches to be played, so it may be a few days until John plays.

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread

John won't play next week. The shin splints are playing up again. He might play the one after, if not then the season will be over for him.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Unlucky for John but at least he is being smart about it by not overplaying and putting himself at risk of aggravating the injury.

John is in a solid training phase, still unsure whether he play an event before the WC playoff.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread

A friend of mine who is a friend of John says he will begin training next week. His next tournament will be the wildcard playoff.

He has already been training, should be very fit and ready to go for the playoff.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

If you are training at the gym, then you are in training

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread

John has been back on the court this week, seems to be going well for him.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
