Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread

John beat Nielson 6-3 6-0. Really an excellent scoreline. He now plays Bogomolov Jr for a place in the final, who beat Guccione 6-3 6-3.

Will John crack the Top 200 with his SF result?

Matchu has worked out all the rankings in the Rankings Watch thread for the respective Aussie players. He spends a lot of time on it.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Never in doubt the bandwagon starts arriving. It's an interesting match for him against Bogomolov Jr, they are quite similar players but of course Bogo is more experienced. He isn't above some antics as well, if things aren't going well.

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread

John's into the final after defeating Bogomolov Jr 2-6 7-6 7-6. Great effort to come from a set down and then a break down in the third. Plays Kendrick in what I think is his first ever Challenger final.

Baker (USA) - Bedene (SLO) - Bellucci (BRA) - Berta (SWE) - Cuevas (URU) - Domijan (USA) - Ebden (AUS) - Estrella (DOM) - Grigelis (LTU) - Guccione (AUS) - Heliovaara (FIN) - Kavcic (SLO) - King (BAH) - Kontinen (FIN) - Kubler (AUS) - Lajovic (SRB) - Matosevic (AUS) - McGee (IRE) - Millman (AUS) - Mitchell (AUS) - Nielsen (DEN) - Nieminen (FIN) - Paire (FRA) - Udomchoke (THA)

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread

Yes, it is John's first ever Challenger final and great comeback from him. Kendrick will be a different challenge for sure. He will need to vary his returning position as Kendrick will S&V him a lot.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I was about to say that Green and Gold was clearly Hewitt 2010, looks like he has already been banned again.

Good stuff Johnny, good luck in the final champ.

Was thinking the same when I saw what threads he was posting in/his age. Hewitt2010 is banned but in the banned users thread his name is not listed there. Don't know what's going on. Anyone know if it was permanent? Foolish actions to make a second or even third account which I think this Green and Gold is.

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread

Yeah it was pretty obvious it was him, no idea if he is permanently banned or not or what exactly he got banned for. I guess it was just repeated stupidity. You'd think if you were going to make another account you would at least change your age, posting style and country

That's a great result for John. Welcome to the top 200! Wasn't sure if he'd ever make it so congratulations. Good luck in the final
