Re: The Mighty MM

Damn, missed opportunity there for Mato - he has beating Sela before. A pity.
I'm sure there is more good to come from MMM.

Re: The Mighty MM

Nice win Marinko. Plays Nadal tonight second on centre court. For those in Australia it will be shown on ESPN.

Re: The Mighty MM

Mato predictably out-gunned by Nadal
but he can still brag that he broke the clay maestro and led the 2nd set 2-0!!!
That was after he trailed 4-0 in the first set.
Final score-line 6-1, 6-2 to Nadal

Re: The Mighty MM

Completely outclassed, but Rinko made it competitive at times by some massive groundies. He has substantially bulked up his upper body strength over the past 6 months. Rinko was up 2-0 and had break points to be up 3-0 and serving. But even if he did get that game I would say Nadal would have still fired back to win 6 games in a row.
Great experience anyway he can't be too disappointed with that.

Re: The Mighty MM

Marinko has a good draw in Bucharest he takes on 8th seed Viktor Troicki in the first round who is in horrible form and also doesnt like the clay. Go Marinko!

Re: The Mighty MM

Matosevic takes advantage of his soft draw by beating wild card Kevin Krawietz 6-2 6-4. Plays either Gulbis or Nieminen next.

Re: The Mighty MM

Solid result, as expected, from Mato. Great to see him get some luck in his draws.
Next match will be a challenge and he can gain some good experience too.
