Re: Jason Kubler Cheering Thread

I was about to ask why the tournament win on Feb 6th does not appear in his ranking.....but I check again and now it does! Up to 401

Re: Jason Kubler Cheering Thread

Jason got up in his 1st round match in Mildura over Verryth 7-5 4-6 6-4. Good win... big Mark's serve could have been difficult to handle on the grass.

He takes on Kokkinakis next. Should get through this one relatively easy.

Re: Jason Kubler Cheering Thread

Phew, that was closer than anticipated. But it was his first match off clay in a while.

Jason is on a good way to again be the best player born in 1993.

Re: Jason Kubler Cheering Thread

Good win for Koobs, on another natural surface. Mark would have been favourite with his big serve on grass.

QF [4] Hiroki Moriya (JPN) d [5] Jason Kubler (AUS) 6-3 6-2. Not a bad showing, lived up to his seeding. Jason is back on the clay in his next event.

Re: Jason Kubler Cheering Thread

That loss is a little disturbing to me given his competitiveness in the States for the past several months, but everyone throws in a clunker now and again. Hopefully he'll have some more good results in the months ahead.

Re: Jason Kubler Cheering Thread

he's playing in Ipswich on clay on the 19th and then he'd be stupid not to play in Bundaberg the next week. then that's the last of the Australian tournaments for a while so he should go overseas after them.
