Re: Adam Feeney

Adam is having sone good success at the moment over his travelling mates. Last week he smashed Robert Smeets in the first round and overnight he has beaten Colin Ebelthite in three close sets to advance to the second round. I would like to see him now progress beyond round 2. Keep going mate!

Re: Adam Feeney

I generally dont like it when a higher ranked player beats a lower ranked compatriot

Australian Tennis Rankings:
1. Hewitt (28) 2. Guccione (92) 3. Jones (149) 4. Luczak (152) 5. Smeets (153) 6. Sirianni (155) 7. Ball (214) 9. Groth (240) 8. Ebelithe (247) 10. Lindahl(252) 11. Feeney (288) 12. Coelho (295) 13. Junaid (307) 14. Klein (334) 15. Armstrong (342)

Actually Adam is defending a heap of points (like 60!)in the next few weeks so he will need some big performances to even stay where he is!

Re: Adam Feeney

It is fantastic to see Adam clearly starting to get wins over some of his travelling tour mates. Regardless of other poster's opinions, I actually rate Robert Smeets and Colin Ebithite as top players. Therefore Adam is clearly in great form and equally those true supporters of Mens tennis in Australia should remain positive and encouraging. Go Adam and keep it up. Great wins will ensure that the ranking will improve.

Re: Adam Feeney

Did well to make the final in Perth, but unfortunately not his best day in the final...a number of df's and looked to be lifting up on the forehand often. Great backhand and volleys though

Legendary Lleyton Hewitt

Rafael Nadal
Guillermo Coria

Taylor Dent

Re: Adam Feeney

Tight second set Auscon. Seems that Adam has found form just at the right time!

Not quite as close as the score suggests though...it never looked in doubt for MM. Adam was coughing a bit during the match though so I think he may have been a bit under the weather

Thanks Auscon for the comments. MM is a huge star on the rise I reckon.
