Brilliant. Will play Ruben Ramirez-Hidalgo in the first round of the Guadalajara Challenger. Couldn't ask for a much better first round draw.

Thats a long travel - from Rimouski to Guadalajara - hope he is not too stiff and tired when he plays the 1st round.

Re: Samuel Groth: The Forgotten Australian

Smith and Ebden found their first rounds too tough moving from the States to Mexico so I hope that Groth restores some Aussie pride! Come on Sam...lets win this one too!!!!

Re: Samuel Groth: The Forgotten Australian

A solid effort from Sam, with some good serving, sees him into his second Challenger final this year. Served out the match with four first serves, ace, ace to end. Top 150 for Sam next week.

Can he make it his secpnd title this year...
Will need to maintain the serving rage against Rajeev Ram, the No.5 seed(ATP131).
Go Sam

Lost to Rajeev Ram 26 26.

Great week though, and excellent for his ranking

Re: Samuel Groth: The Forgotten Australian

Thats disappointing. Meffert must be playing well.
I remember Meffert was the last player Pete Luczak beat in AO qualies.
