Nice comeback in the second set tie break. 1-4* and 4-6* --> 8-6

Re: Samuel Groth: The Forgotten Australian

Looking forward to Big Sam vs Michal Przysiezny. MP holds a 1-0 head to head by virtue of a 3-6 7-5 6-3 win in Korea last year but Grothy on Grass is a different proposition!

Its halfway through 2013 - What do we think about Sam Groth this year? Pass or Fail and why?

Re: Samuel Groth: The Forgotten Australian

A Pass for Sam so far.

He has performed ok, earning 161 pts to date, with 52 pts to defend, only 7 pts before US Open cut-off, so should be in qualies draw.

Should be a Pass for Groth this year.

Re: Samuel Groth: The Forgotten Australian

I'm also going pass, however a little disappointed in his grass court season. Thought he could have done some damage to some draws but it didn't eventuate. Hopefully some good results to come on the hard-courts in the back half of the year.
