Re: 2006 Tournaments {JMG needs a little help from his fans, see post #6}

It will make me very happy if he's in San Jose in 6 weeks without me worrying about him going through qualies. I would like to have Goran there as well (I'm being very selfish, mainly concerned with how much fun I get have that week )

Best twitter posts of the epic match:

@dougrobson - Whoever is supplying Mahut with hair gel needs to ink a sponsorship deal now.

@Wimbledon - FYI, with @Wimbledon live scoring devices, please add 50 to the games in the fifth set of the Isner v Mahut match.

@HolterMedia - Nice to see that a three-day test has come to tennis here @wimbledon.

Good job Fee with the Thread Title update. Well it seems like Delray is the only Tournament answering e-mails since two of us got an e-mail from Mr. Butler. And I received no response from my two other e-mails
May be responses will come to me later on, I certainly hope so! I want to see JMG playing

Pretty sure San Jose is out for the holiday break, probably the same at Memphis. I also got a response from Mr. Butler and I am very encouraged by that.

I keep forgetting about the holiday break and the fact that many people have time off! We will have to keep trying after the new year starts. I'm sure since those Tournaments are U.S. Tournaments and JMG is an American player he is going to get some wildcards somewhere, I hope

Can I ask what you wrote in your emails?

Pretty much what I wrote, please consider JMG for a Singles and Doubles wildcard, he's very popular with the fans, and could use a boost to get his career back on track, blah blah blah. Just a few sentences from the heart, sincere works better than fancy.

Yes I just made my e-mails short, simple, and sincere. I was afraid if I got too wordy my e-mails might not even get read! And that wouldn't help JMG

It might be too early for that just yet. I want to see how he does in Hawaii before we start writing to the Masters events. I would just really love to see him win that event, it would do wonders for his confidence. Shame that he won't be getting a WC for Delray (unless Andre pulls out at the last minute as I expect him to do).

Fee I was very disappointed that JMG didn't get a WC to DelRay. That was the only Tournament that replied to my e-mails and they said they were considering him. May be Andre will pull out and then JMG will get a WC? I just remembered reading somewhere that Andy wasn't going to play DelRay this year so may be the Tournament was trying to find another "big name" to replace Andy? IMO Andy can not be replaced at a Tournament, but I guess the people in charge of the Tournament have to try something!

Jan-Michael has officially withdrawn from the Aus Open qualies. His first tournament of the year will be the Waikoloa Challenger in Hawaii on Jan 23rd, if he's ready to play by then. If he does well there, he won't be able to go to Delray for qualies.

Fee you keep saying JMG isn't ready to play. He is still having physical problems?
