Anyhoo, JMG used to be a bit of a tall, gangly type and I guess right around the time he had to retire from the 18 and under National finals with cramps (lost to Gimelstob), he decided he needed to get stronger if he was going to make it on the tour. Got a trainer and started working on his back, which meant working on that tummy. The ATP media guide still says that he does 500-1000 situps a day, which is not true, he has a much more balanced gym workout these days. He is not on a special diet, he eats a lot, sometimes not very well (I know he likes cheeseburgers), but he doesn't drink much. He can kind of get away with his diet at this point because he still burns so many calories every day between his time on court and his time in the workout room, but it might catch up to him someday... mwahaha...
I swear I need a doctor to remove all these useless JMG factoids from my brain...
