Re: Tournament Talk

Gosh, I am so pleased for Jan-Mike. No one wants to be the first to lose to Young, and with all the other problems jmg is having lately, this is sure to get him pumped up for tomorrow. I think he has a very solid chance of beating Taylor now, if his legs aren't sore when he wakes up tomorrow.

Best twitter posts of the epic match:

@dougrobson - Whoever is supplying Mahut with hair gel needs to ink a sponsorship deal now.

@Wimbledon - FYI, with @Wimbledon live scoring devices, please add 50 to the games in the fifth set of the Isner v Mahut match.

@HolterMedia - Nice to see that a three-day test has come to tennis here @wimbledon.

Re: Tournament Talk

Glad you got to see JMG play even if it was a bit of an odd game (according to the article I put on my board). Looking forward to seeing your photos.

As for the tiebreak, wow! A tough piece of work, 12-10 by points. I'd better not like to know how the match would have ended if he had lost this opening set

Anyway, the last ATP maindraw win for JMG was already too long ago, good that he finally got one again

I meant livescore.com, that's where I was 'watching'.

Re: Tournament Talk

Jan-Mike won 6-4 6-4, quite a good win because Suzuki can be a tough opponent.

He will next play John Paul Fruttero who beat Sjeng Schalken

it was down for about 2 hours today, possibly longer. Happens kind of frequently with that server, but it's free so I'm not complaining...

6-GAMBILL, Jan-Michael USA d. 1-PHAU, Bjorn GER 4-6,6-4,6-1

This is the first time he has won 3 matches in a row (of any kind, at any level) since 2003.
