lol, I wasted a lot of pictures trying to get the good ones
EG. Jurgen Melzer / Jarkko Nieminen. Jarkko is hard to get a good shot of. He's always squinting or making some weird face (but I still think he's adorable! )

Re: Jan Michael Gambill

Well, I had to send an email to JMG to clarify this. He used his one-handed FH in a few tournaments last summer from time to time. I wonder if this article means he only used a one-hander and never used his two-hander or what. Hopefully, I'll hear back from him.

Best twitter posts of the epic match:

@dougrobson - Whoever is supplying Mahut with hair gel needs to ink a sponsorship deal now.

@Wimbledon - FYI, with @Wimbledon live scoring devices, please add 50 to the games in the fifth set of the Isner v Mahut match.

@HolterMedia - Nice to see that a three-day test has come to tennis here @wimbledon.

Does he usually return u're emails? If so, that's so cool.

I wonder what it looks like. I'm trying to picture it, but I'm used to seeing it only on the run.

Re: Jan Michael Gambill

Here's part of the post I put in the JMG thread in GM...

I had already sent him an email asking him what was up, and he replied in typical one sentence fashion (is that a guy thing or a tennis player thing?). Anyway, he said that he only used a one handed forehand for the match yesterday and did not use his 2 hander at all and this is a new thing for him. He sounds pretty positive about it all. I am intrigued and hope I get to see this for myself next week in San Jose (with my luck, I'll miss his matches somehow). I did become fond of that hideous 2-handed forehand of his after a while, when he sets up for it he can do wicked things. Trouble is, between the semi-chronic shin pain and his age (28 in June), his movement has become... well... uhm... 'less than efficient' and a one-handed FH can compensate for some of that (but only some, and he still needs to work on getting those 13 1/2's of his moving better).

So, we'll see...

I'd say it's both. being a tennis player AND a guy probably makes it worse.
