Wow, I'm surprised. Looking at the posts for American players, there are not very many lol. Well, anyone at all know what's been going on with JMG's knee muscle tendinitis or something like that? I'm worried about him. BTW, he's an adorable man!  :hearts: :p

That's fine, I don't mind at all. I know we all have our lists and I know what's its like when two of your faves play against each other. This one is absolutely no contest for me, at all, and I am so glad that I will see this match. Hope they play on Saturday.

Yes, those are pictures of Torrey Gambill.

No, I cannot cheer for JanMike because I will not be at his match. I will be in my hotel room in front of the live scoreboard. His match is on the main stadium and I can't afford those tickets.

I have no idea what Torrey does, but he never really had a tennis career.

Well, I got a phone call from someone who was at the match and he was pretty disappointed afterwards. He tried, he didn't give up, but it seems that nothing was working for him today and he just had a very bad day at the office, so to speak. Hopefully, he can put this behind him but I have to wonder if all of these losses aren't just piling up in his brain and affecting the way he plays singles these days...

he had bad day at the office maybe that was his problem he should tried being on the court instead

seriously though poor jan-mike i knwo what you mean, i sometime sthink he might be better concentrating on doubles for a while to get his confidence back but then i think that he just just keep trying and just not let it affect him he needs to goin with a "what have i got to lose" state of mind, but i feel he keeps going in with a "shit i have win this" head and it messes with him, same with andy really.

they'll both come through it though.

brad gilbert? :haha: i think he just needs tokeep working at it! he needs his confidence back

JanMike was supposed to have a new coach this season, but the deal fell apart and that person is now coaching someone else. If there was anyone else out there that he could let himself trust, I think he would be willing to make the switch. He needs to do something different. There are certain things that he wants to accomplish in the last few years of his career and its not going to happen if he doesn't pick up his game soon.

Fee, was it Scott? Or just like an unknown coach?
