Smile Open 13 - Marseille

Finally Taylor is playing again! I was going through some major Taylor withdrawl. The bad part is he has a super tough draw. First Igor, who Taylor should beat on this court.(Of course nothing is a give with Taylor) Then Ivan in the 2nd rnd.

Best of Luck to Taylor!!!

I will also be glad that Taylor is back playing and I hope he has been working on his conditioning. That draw is awful And I couldn't agree with you more with Taylor nothing is a given But I wish him Good Luck

I thought the same thing when I saw his name in the draw. Cali's been Taylor's home for most of his life. The draw isn't any weaker in Marseille. Marseille does have a few more points but not by much, same thing with the prize money. They're both indoor hard courts and I highly doubt he's getting an appearance fee. C'est un mystère!

Re: Open 13 - Marseille

He played it last year too if I recall. I don't get it. It's too bad. I think he'd have a better shot at doing well in San Jose, but maybe he doesn't like it for some reason. Seems that it's one US tourney that a lot of the US guys don't play - him, Robby, the Bryans don't play it, etc.

You would think it would be easier for Taylor to stay in the U.S. and play Oh that just gave me a bad thought so I won't say it

Re: Open 13 - Marseille

I hope Taylor can get off to a good start in this Tournament and gets in some wins Taylor really does need to get in some wins. I went to the ATP site and as of yesterday Taylor's ranking had gone to 43. He had dropped 4 places

Re: Open 13 - Marseille

Well I thought Taylor was off to a good start in the Tournament. Taylor is playing Andreev. Taylor won the 1st Set 6-2 But he lost the 2nd Set 3-6 They are at 1 all in the 3rd Set.
