Yeah, I saw the match too - AMAZING serving from Thomas, I think the commentators were in awe (and I could tell Bill Threlfall has a little bit of a soft spot for our guy, but then, who in their right mind wouldn't?) however, he needs to work on being more aggressive with guys like Baggy who really take it to the players. I think the best point of the match from Thomas was when he stepped back to receive serve from Marcos and released a stunning crosscourt backhand that won him the point - that's what he needs to do more often.
It was a very close match, so he shouldn't feel bad and it was nice to see his wife in the stands supporting him on! She's looking as lovely as ever, pregnancy suits her I think!
However, one thing that worried me about Thomas' match was that he was getting down on himself far too easily when he missed a couple of balls, which put him off his stride - he should try to stay more positive and he'll be fine.
