take care, kokk
Was holding his calf and then thigh. Wasn't holding his back like in the Aus Open Junior final. Though back issues can cause leg issues, I'd say it's cramp. However prolonged cramp can cause more permanent damage to the affected areas, so hopefully that didn't happen. Needs to keep himself well hydrated until his next match.

What a way to win your main-draw Grand Slam debut!

I'm totally convinced that he'll be better than Kyrgios (he seems more well-rounded to me).

Re: Thanasi Kokkinakis

Great match. Did well to finish it off given the cramp. Is going to have to work on that - lack of conditioning - needs to get fitter, stronger.
Good luck in next match..

WOW! That's really big news! What a great opportunity to 1 - gain experience, and 2 - fast track his way up the rankings. He could get a very tough draw in Rotterdam given it's an ATP500, but Marseille is an ATP250 and gives first round byes to the first four seeds, so a great chance to get his first ATP win.

And the real sign he's making it, profile pic! http://www.atpworldtour.com/Tennis/P...okkinakis.aspx

Re: Thanasi Kokkinakis

I might have misheard but I'm pretty sure the wildcard into Rotterdam is only for qualies. Not sure on Marseille..

Re: Thanasi Kokkinakis

14 years on now from the Sydney Olympics I think it is time to drop the Oi Oi Oi.
It's annoy, annoy, annoy...

Time for a new slogan
