ARAG ATP World Team Championship - Dusseldorf, Germany 5/06

I must admit I have never heard of the ARAG ATP World Team Championship before I saw the thead for it here at the MTF. And it is interesting because some countries have more players listed than others Anyway
Andy, the Bryans, and Robby are supposed to play for the U.S. Good Luck

Every country has 4 players, they may be still confirming some of the players, I know someone mentioned that Argentina's 4th player has been confirmed but it's not on the site yet. If they don't have 4, then someone will have to play singles and doubles like DC.

Looks like Robby plays "Dr. Ivo" Karlovic tomorrow! Hope you get some good match play out there, Robby...

Well it will be good practice for his returning, but unfortunately really bad practice for his movement and ground game consistency Good luck to him anyway

He beat Karlovic 6-4 7-6(1)! Not great for his claycourt game but maybe good for his confidence

Wow, Robby slays the giant on clay. Well done, Robby!

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

Robby served at 72%, and converted all his break points! I'm happy for his win here, even though it doesn't mean all that much... I know that it was better for him to feel like he won something rather than losing something again

Robby being the only US American won a game today.

The Chileans practically float on clay compared to Robby I just hope he plays longer than 40 minutes, if it's him playing against one of them...

What happened to Gonzo?

Capdeville is a very good up and coming Chilean, especially on clay. So not very optimistic about Robby's chance. Unless his prev. win gave him a boast in confidence.
