Potential meeting with de Schepper in the 2nd, that's a difficult opponent on grass.

Gotta get past the 1st round first - although the only qualifier there who might trouble Nick is perhap Thanasi
Wonder how Nick's injury is?

Re: Nick Kyrgios - Yes He Canberra

Nick's return of serve is soo bad... he only won 20% of points on Smith's 2nd serve.

He played very strange. The impression, that he was in a hurry somewhere.

Re: Nick Kyrgios - Yes He Canberra

That's because JP Smith is such a wiley player. He gives you no pace, is very accuate with his serve, picks his spots well and then jerks you around the court like a puppet. Also likes a target, so is a difficult opponent, who knows how to win.

Re: Nick Kyrgios - Yes He Canberra

He has yet to really have any good results on the grass. Didn't expect much.

Aegon Nottingham 2 Challenge qualifiers just started on indoor hard-courts.

Now Nick lead 5-2 in first set against Jay Clark.

Re: Nick Kyrgios - Yes He Canberra

I thought he was going to play Queen's qualifying? He could have easily gotten direct acceptance. Maybe he was just desperate for grass matches and playing a lower ranked field would mean a higher chance of more matches.
