Good win Nick. Next up Sugita/Ward. Will be a tough match either way.

Quality first post and username.

Kyrgios is entered in Australian Futures events the next two weeks in Melbourne and Mildura. He's not on the Sydney Challenger list the following week but I suspect he'll get another wild card.

Sorry - obviously new to the forums. My name is Christos Kyrgios, Nick is my younger brother. It's great to see him in this form, the Aus Open Juniors win was a great jolt of confidence.

I wasn't being sarcastic; it's great to have more Nick supporters posting here and obviously you know a lot more about him than anyone else on here. Do you get to travel with him much?

Re: Nick Kyrgios - Yes He Canberra

Yeah lol that was me with the painted head at the open

Sorry, I didn't take offense I didn't think you were being sarcastic either, all good! Going to travel with him to the Junior Slams this year but I have a little on my plate this year so I can't be at every event which would be what I would prefer.

They went down in the doubles today! Had 5 break point opportunities as well, ah well - I dare say it's a good thing so he can focus on his singles match tomorrow.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys

Welcome to the forums Christos. Was a big fan of your painted head at the AO lol.

And I echo Smokes thoughts, your bro has incredible potential to go a long way in tennis.

Life is an orange and you're just a little pip.

Re: Nick Kyrgios - Yes He Canberra

I could be wrong, but if Nick wins his next match he'll become the first player from the '93, '94 or 95 generation to have reached a futures finals. The last player I can remember reaching a Challenger final under the age of 18 is Tomic.

Re: Nick Kyrgios - Yes He Canberra

Nick goes down 6-4 5-7 6-1. Still, a fantastic week beating three top 320 and more experienced players. Hopefully he can keep this momentum in coming weeks.
