Re: Nick Kyrgios - Yes He Canberra

Nick is 9th on the acceptance list for the April 8th 15,000 Chinese Futures starting April 8th. In terms of ranking it's a rather strong list, but Nick should still scrape a seeded position.

Just bumping him because he is a boss - and its going to be a big couple of months for him

Failure is not falling down, but refusing to get back up.

Yes! He's back in action next week.

So, you say big couple of months, does he have concrete plans after the Chinese Futures? I assume he will play three consecutive ones, but after that I don't know. I see there is a Chinese hard court Challenger one week after the third Futures...

Just saw your post in the Duckworth thread. That wink has definitely got my attention now.

Re: Nick Kyrgios - Yes He Canberra

As 7th seed, Kyrgios plays local Bowen Ouyang in the first round of F1 Chinese Futures. Of course he is drawn in Klein's section of the draw yet again. He's also teamed up with Bolt in the doubles and they are seeded second.

Confirmation that he's on the entry list of F2 and F3 Chinese Futures played the following two weeks.

A bit of a struggle judging by the socre-line but at least the right result achieved.

7-5 in the breaker but got it done in straights and couldn't hope for too much more for his first match in over a month. He plays the inform Yuichi Ito next who is on a 6-match winning streak after titling in Japan F4 last week.

Re: Nick Kyrgios - Yes He Canberra

Kyrgios d. Mott 4-1 ret. Plays top seed Wu in the semi-finals, who beat Bolt 6-1 6-1. Wu is the 8th highest ranked 21 or under and should really be playing Challengers (or higher) only as he's been top 190 for over 6 months now. This will be a very tough one for Kyrgios.

Bolt had a rough day as he also lost doubles to Yang and Wang with Kyrgios as his partner.
