Rise in Rankings?

Well i was just wondering why James hasn't earnt any ranking points since the Ausie Open. He made it to the final in Delray, 2nd round in San Jose and is still in 2605 points. Andy roddick made it to the final of Memphis and he got lots of points to jump to 3rd on the rankings. So yeah, why?

Im not a ranking expert but I think since he won 5 optional titles last year, James has used up all his optional points for the 12 month period. They take the best 5 results from the optional and add it towards the Masters and Slam events. So he will only make a significant rise again when the clay Masters Series begin. Remember he reached the final of Indian Wells and the QF of Maimi.

The positive news is after Miami his results in the Masters series events were dreadful last year so if he does well he should increase his points total and move up the rankings again.

ALLEZ FED!!!
